Armidale Merino Stud

Here at Armidale in the Maniototo, Central Otago, New Zealand we aim to breed a moderate framed robust Merino while maintaining a quality fleece and structural soundness.  Our rams our renowned for their ability to shift into extreme environments and still perform.  We continually benchmark ourselves against others both at shows and through commercial profitability via financial analysis . Sale rams have a large amount of data collected on fleece, carcass, animal health and maternal traits.  This information is used to generate breeding values through Merino Select in Australia.
